Q4 Beauty Empties

Recently, I started skin cycling by Dr. Whitney Bowe with my evening skincare routine, so I’ve changed up a few items while I try to find the one that works best for me in all areas of the process. I will say, I have seen the best results with my skin now that I am skin cycling. It is the game changer I didn’t know I needed for my skin. If you’re wanting to overhaul your skin routine or just improve the texture of your skin, definitely check it out.

Below you will find a recap of the nine products I finished during Q4 last year.

First, the Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid
Peptide Cream. I really liked this moisturizer. I found my skin still well hydrated when I would wake up. Plus, this is refillable for less waste.

I didn’t purchase it again right away, but my replacement was not as good as this. Once I finish the placement I’m getting this again!

Second, the Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil. I love this stuff. I mix it with the Olaplex No. 6 and apply it to wet hair. It works as a heat protectant and while I don’t dry and style my hair as often as I used to, it’s still a regular thing in my life.

This stuff is great!

Next, the Caudalie S.O.S. Thirst Quencher Serum. I felt real meh about this product. It was fine, and I didn’t feel like it worked particularly well. Also, I only used one to two pumps every fourth night and it was gone so fast.

I will be looking for hyaluronic acid serum.

Next, the Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen. It is hands down my favorite face sunscreen. I use this daily after my skincare routine and usually, this is where my routine stops for the day. This sunscreen is pure magic. The formula is so light and doesn’t leave a white cast.

Will repurchase x 10.

Next, Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Vitamin C Serum. I liked this vitamin c serum and would purchase it again. I felt like it lasted a long time which is so crucial when buying skincare.

I did get a different one to try after finishing this, so jury is still out if I’ll go back.

Next, Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Lotion. I didn’t like this one as much as the cream. I used it for my daytime moisturizer and my skin felt really dry after some time. This might be better for summer time, but it didn’t work for me during the winter.

Next, Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil. This face oil is so light. I really like it. Plus, it’s a great price. I use the oil to add an extra oomph to my moisturizer and for my gua sha practice.

I will definitely keep this face oil on my list!

Finally, Bathing Culture Big Dipper Mineral Bath. I really like this bath soak, but per the recommended amount per bath, it only lasts for fourth baths.

I did enjoy the fragrance, and I felt very relaxed after. However, I will look for something that is a bit more bang for my buck for my bath soak.

Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products or if you are adding any of them to your routine.

xx,

Linds
