Style Sessions: Free People Bodysuit

I stumbled upon this Free People bodysuit (Nordy’s link here) the other day while I was browsing the internet and I was instantly in love. It looked like a very “me” top but was a bit more special occasion than an everyday kind of top. After sending it to a couple of friends to confirm it was indeed as cute as I thought it was and I wasn’t just self-soothing by online shopping, I hit purchase.

I have very few “going out” or “date night” articles of clothing, and honestly, I am okay with that, but this is an area of my closet I’d like to improve upon. Not that I want an entire section of things that are only reserved for going out or dates, but sometimes I want to wear something a bit more fun than a cotton shirt or that is only reserved for special events.

Things I love about this bodysuit:

  1. The adjustable straps. As someone who has a very long torso, bodysuits are hard for me and the ability to control the drapey-ness is a win.

  2. The quasi-leopard print. Leopard is a neutral. I don’t care what you say.

  3. It fills a gap in my closet - date night or going out pieces.

Here are three ways I would wear the Bare It All Free People bodysuit.

look one

All black everything. Sort of. An easy combo when going out is a mostly monochromatic black look. Black feels sleek and polished.

Look Two

Date night, but make it casual. This look is all about spring and summer vibes. Warm weather, I am ready for you!

Look Three

And lastly, a daytime look for a fun casual day date or for walking around and exploring your favorite city.

What is your favorite look? Would you wear this bodysuit?

Linds
